It Was This Big
“I swear, it was this big, Mum.” John was trying to convince his mother. She stopped her chopping and turned to him, “Honey, remember the time you told me the dog was typing? He was drooling all over the keyboard. I had to replace the computer.”
“But Mum…”
“Sweetie, how about that time you said there was a biker dog?” John stared at her. “Then the other time, you said the beluga were wearing Santa hats.” She reminded him about the mouse angel that didn’t exist.
Struggling not to cry, John held back his tears. He ran to the garden where the giant bunny was munching away on the grass and flowers. His mother would not be happy about her beloved flowers being eaten but he had told her. She just didn’t believe him.
